When entering the exam monitor, under the "Participants" tab, it will be possible to open a panel for each participant individually.

The purpose of the panel is to display information related to exam participants in a quick and efficient manner.

The new participant panel provides:

  • Quick access to participant information
  • Real-time status monitoring
  • Direct communication capabilities
  • Easy navigation between overview, messages and activity functions
  • Integration with both regular and super monitor views

The panel will display three tabs (an overview tab about the participant in the exam, a tab for messages in the exam and a tab of the student's activity before/during the exam).

Opening the Participant Panel

First, to enter the participant panel, click on the "Open Panel" icon that appears next to the participant identifier:

After clicking the icon, a pane will open on the right side of the screen that will display the participant panel:

Overview Tab

In the participant panel under the Overview tab, information about the specific participant will be displayed (Student ID, Participant Status, Questions progress percentage, and more).

In addition, it will be possible to go to the student's integrity report by clicking "Go to Report" (1), go to the student's verifications in the exam by clicking "Go to Verifications" (2), go to Focus mode (3), and perform additional actions in the exam by clicking the 3 dots (4).

Messages Tab

It will also be possible to switch from the Overview tab to the Messages tab, and perform various actions as can be done in the main Messages tab (send messages to the student, use canned responses, change assignment, and change ticket status).

In the Messages tab, you can:

  • View message history with status updates (e.g., "changed status", "assigned this issue")
  • Send new messages using the message input field
  • Use formatting tools and canned responses
  • Monitor communication logs

* From this screen, admin and supervisor only see messages in the technical field.

Lecturer only sees messages in the academic field.

Activity Tab

This tab displays every student action with precise timestamps, giving a complete picture of the exam flow.

- Under "Check-in Process" or "Re-Login" actions such as logging in, hardware check(such as the number of checks and the number of times  the student performs them), verifications, and moving to the exam lobby will be displayed.

- Under "Exam" actions such as starting an exam, exiting the exam, and submitting it will be displayed.

- Under "Scanning" actions such as starting a scan and exam end will be displayed.

Super Monitor Access

It will also be possible to access the participant panel through the super monitor (access is authorized for permission holders only).

Here too, to enter the participant panel, click on the "Open Panel" icon that appears next to the participant identifier.
