The new focus mode on the monitor screen will upgrade your proctoring process.

In this mode, the invigilator can focus on a specific student, open the viewing page in a new tab, and view two video sources (computer camera and screen recording) in real-time. This allows for a deeper inspection in case of a suspected integrity event.

In addition, a two-way video call can be initiated, enabling immediate communication with the student, similar to Zoom or Google Meet.

Steps to enter Focus Mode:

  1. First, click on the "Proctoring" tab in the main monitor window.

  2. Place the mouse cursor over the camera view of the desired student, and in the toolbar that appears, click the right icon for "Open Focus Mode."

  3. In the Focus Mode screen, the following actions are available:

    1. Display Sources: This button allows you to show or hide the Webcam view, Screen recording, and the 2nd camera (available soon).
    2. Start 1:1 Session: This button initiates a direct call with the student in Focus Mode (voice only).
    3. Enable/Disable Invigilator's Camera in 1:1 Call.
    4. Enable/Disable Invigilator's Microphone in 1:1 Call.
