In a scrambled exam, there is a code—a version number—assigned to each participant. Based on this number, the system knows the specific order of the questions and answers, enabling it to automatically grade the multiple-choice questions according to the participant's markings.
If the participant has entered the wrong version number, it can be corrected by following these steps:
If the exam has already been published, its status must be changed in the system to allow editing (this should be coordinated with the relevant academic department).
Access the exam in the Tomagrade system, select the required student's record, and go to the grading screen.
If the exam booklet is marked as "checked," click on the "Enable Edit Mode" button in the grading screen.
Switch to the "Closed Questions" view and click on "Settings."
Enter the correct version number and click "OK."
After the change, the system will recalculate the score based on the newly entered version number.
Note! After the re-evaluation, it might be necessary to update exceptional markings as explained here.
